North Kensington team members awarded Citizen Science certification

Maysa Mahamoud, Sarah Smoured and Aisha Tahliil from the Good Life North Kensington team have successfully attained the UCL Citizen Science Certificate, awarded by the UCL Office for Open Science. The certificate is a high-quality, non-academic certification awarded to individuals who complete a training programme as part of the UCL Citizen Science Academy, who were our partner for the Good Life North Kensington project. Based on a portfolio of work and assessed across four competency domains, the certificate recognises practice-based learning, knowledge and practical skills in research methods, collaboration and communication and the role these can play in place-based social action.

Maysa, Sarah and Aisha were awarded their certificates by Professor Dame Henrietta Moore, Director of the Institute for Global Prosperity at UCL, in a ceremony held as part of the Citizen Science Now! exhibition and showcase.
